    How long does it take to complete a site?

    Once payment is received and you’ve answered some simple questions, it will take 7-10 days to have your first version completed. Depending on your package, you will have a total of two major revisions on your site, with each taking 1-2 days.

    Please keep in mind that the process depends completely on you, the client and how detailed your project is. The quicker you get back to me with your content, answers to questions and approvals for any changes, the quicker your site will go live.

    At this time High Heel Designs has a turn around time of anywhere from 1-2 weeks. If you look at the top of this page, you will see when my current design schedule starts.

    Additional time will be needed for more complex sites.

    Can I do my own updates?

    Once your website is up and running you may be wondering if you can make changes to it yourself, without having to pay a web designer. You can, but there are however, several very important things to consider:

    High Heel Designs offers FREE BASIC WEBSITE MAINTENANCE with all but the Budget Design. I do basic updates (those minor things likes rate changes, banner/links text changes and 1-2 lines) FREE of charge on a weekly basis for current clients. For many, this is the only updating you will need.

    You MUST know what you are doing before you attempting to edit your website! Making even what seems to be a simple change to text can have disastrous results if don't know what you're doing.

    It may be in your best interest to pay a one time fee to make changes to your site reather than an very large restoration fee if you screw something up.

    More extensive changes/updates are charged out at my $30/hr rate plus the actual fee of the service.
